Prophet Wore Women's Make Up?
Iceyyy (IceTea-Girl) claims the Prophet Muhamed wore women’s make up in order to attract people. She quotes a hadith that she got from her boss Christian_prince (Investigateislam), She put the hadith up on her screen in arabic (even though she cant read arabic), she hides the url link & doesn’t give the reference, so her majority non Arabic viewers have no idea what she is quoting & they cant find the hadith for themselves Response
The hadith is from Sunnan Ibn Majah. The two most Authentic Sunni hadiths are Sahih Muslim & Bukhari. She is quoting from less authentic hadiths & these hadiths have not been translated into english, so most of her viewers can not read it. Here is the hadith

The hadith she quotes is in the Book Of Medicine, in arabic (al-taab الطب ). In Arabic طبيب tabeeb refers to a doctor. So this hadith is not about beauty, its about medical issues. She claims the prophet Muhammed (pbuh) wore eyeliner for the same reason girls wear them, to attract people. This is a Lie, there was no eye liner back then, They used coal which is called ‘kohl’. Here are Non-Muslim sources to prove her claim wrong
'For desert dwellers kohl helps to protect the eye area from dryness, cuts down the glare of the sun, and acts as an antibacterial agent; in this role as a traditional remedy, use extends to men and children as well'
Source: www.gildedserpent.com/art37/DavinaKhol.htm As early as 10,000 BC, men were grooming themselves…….also included the use of Kohl to heavily line the eyes and eyebrows. Kohl was a dark-colored powder made of crushed antimony, burnt almonds, lead, oxidized copper, ochre, ash, malachite and chrysocolla... Kohl also reduced the suns glare, and it was believed that kohl eyeliner could restore poor eyesight and reduce eye infection. Men who used Kohl as makeup kept it in a small, flat-bottomed pot with a wide, tiny rim and a flat, disk-shaped lid

Conclusion From History, You can see that men especially desert dwellers & warriors used to wear coal (kohl) around their eyes for reducing sun glare, protecting eyes from dryness & also as an antibacterial agent. By some it was also used in battle, we see this in movies like Braveheart & Predator, Also in sports like American Football. This practice stretches to ancient Egypt, King Tut & other Phaeroes. Bedouwin arabs still do this even today
