Semen Is Formed In Backbone?

Some critics of Islam Claim The Quran says that semen in males is produced in the backbone, and they are refering to a verse in the Quran. This Ayah is in Surah 86 verses 5-7. This is what the ayah says

'Now let man but think From what he is created! He is created from A drop emitted...Proceeding from between The back bone and the ribs' (Quran 86:5-7 yusef ali translation)

This verse is literally scientifically true, which is amazing, because haters think that they found an error in the Quran but its actually a fact of Science recorded in the Qu'ran that was not known untill recently, and it was absolutely not known 1400 years ago. First of all note the verse says, 'proceeding from between' This is scientifically true because in the embryonic stages the baby's testicles are formed in the region between the ribs and the backbone, this is what a medical encyclopedia states

'The testicles develop before birth in the abdominal cavity,they descend into the scrotum before birth. Undescended testicle occurs when one or both testicles fail to move into the scrotum prior to birth' http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/article/000973.htm)

Therefore In embryonic stages, the reproductive organs of the male and female, i.e. the testicles and the ovaries, begin their development near the kidney between the spinal column and the eleventh and twelfth ribs. Later they descend; the female gonads(ovaries) stop in the pelvis while the male gonads(testicles) continue their descent before birth to reach the scrotum through the inguinal canal.

Also even in an adult after the descent of the reproductive organ, these organs receive their nerve supply and blood supply from the Abdominal Aorta, which is in the area between the back bone(spinal column) and the ribs. Even the lymphatic drainage and the venous return goes to the same area

Although its now proven this verse is literally, medically and scientifically true, the verse has been and can be interpreted metaphorically and spiritually For instance Yusef Ali in his commentary of the quran says

6071. A man's seed is the quintessence of his body. It is therefore said metaphorically to proceed from his loins, i.e., from his back between the hipbones and his ribs. His backbone is the source and symbol of his strength and personality. In his spinal cord and in the brain is the directive energy of the central nervous system, and this directs all action, organic and psychic. The spinal cord is continuous with the Medulla Oblongata in the brain (R)

This miraculous ayah in the Qu'ran is infact another proof that the Quran is a book from Allah, and this verse is scientifically accurate, Every doctor will tell you that for a developing baby in the womb, its testicles are formed in the area between their ribs and backbone and then later the testicles descend into where they stay the rest of a person's life.
